Start with an unhurried breakfast
Island days should begin slowly. Breakfast sets the rhythm: sea tour, beach walk or pool rest. If you have a tour, eat enough but not too heavily.
Keep lunch light and hydrate
The island sun can tire you quickly. Choose lighter food, drink enough water and use midday for shade or pool time rather than long walks in direct sun.
Evening is when the island changes mood
Some parts of Koh Samet offer restaurants, bars, live music and fire shows, especially around Sai Kaew and Ao Phai. This is when the island feels more atmospheric.
Plan your way back
If you go far from your resort in the evening, check return transport and route because quieter bays may empty out earlier than main areas.
