Respect the weather
Late May to October is rainy season, and some months bring more rain or stronger waves. If the sea is not suitable, postpone water activities rather than forcing a tour.
Watch for rocks at some bays
Some bays have rocks or shell fragments, such as Ao Nuan and parts of Ao Sang Thian. Check the seabed and choose safer swimming areas.
Manage the sun
Viewpoints and beaches can be very exposed, especially at midday. Use sun protection, hat, sunglasses and drink enough water.
Return before dark if unsure
If visiting a far bay or viewpoint in the evening, arrange transport back before dark because some roads are curved or hilly.
